Marina side affects ?

Hey, has anyone suffered with horrific hearth burn/ acid reflux with the Marina coil? My gyne said it’s not related but it reminds me of when I was pregnant and feeling like I feel sick if I’m not eating 😣

I did get a lot of heartburn but because I was in so much pain from the coil I was constantly on pain killers so I'd put the heartburn down to that. It makes sense that it could cause pregnancy symptoms since its supposed to trick to your body into thinking its pregnant. I suffered dreadful morning sickness while on it which would be another one. Sadly I think there is a reluctance to admit to a lot of the side effects like weight gain. Lots of women report this but most doctors don't think the coil is responsible.

Have you tried taking omeprezole or something similar every morning to see if that helps?
