Discharged from op for stage 4 Endo with 12cm cyst ...since becoming pregnant after being infertile. Is this right?

Has anybody been discharged from a much needed surgeons waiting list for op to remove Endo (stage 4 with 12cm cyst plus bowel surgery needed) because of becoming pregnant? Especially after the surgeon told you to keep trying due to infertility caused by the above.

What are your thoughts? I've waited nearly two yrs to be in the position for the op and expected that they will just wait now and send for me once I'm settled after the birth. So upset to have to start at the bottom.

Thanks for any comments

Least while your pregnant some of your symptoms will have resolved. Fingers crossed. How are you feeling otherwise? Have you had children before? Are you happy your pregnant?

Hey, thanks for reply. Yes super happy as they told me it wasn't possible..1st baby :)

They tell you it will lessen things but not when you've already got stage 4 and damage has been done..pain has been worse with adhesions pulling and pressure on bowel Endo plus now feeling very scared about cyst rupturing. They were going to do op in early stages of pregnancy to remove the cyst but failed to see me in time so now got to be extra careful. Feeling pain down there as cyst located in cervix rectum area so taking a lot of pressure. Just pray everything holds out till after baby is here.

Upset just to be discharged from their care as I am still in the same need as before and my op will be due around the time baby is a couple months. It took me two yrs to get to that point of begging them to help me you see xx How are you??

Well your on the list, they know you are there. I too have stage IV endo. With ovarian cysts. Think it’s eaten them up. I hope you stay ok, nature always finds a way. I am happy for you. Just keep positive and don’t push your body too much. Take the rest you need. If your body wants you to slow down. Slow down. I fail to do that so many times.

I'm not on the list. That's the point of my post. They have removed me from the list at BSGE and discharged me from any Endo care. Just because I finally managed to conceive after two yrs. So im back to square 1 with the pain and worry of having the cyst feeling on the brink of twisting or rupturing with being so big and bowels are worsening I can feel it everyday..have other smaller cysts and damaged tubes like you too but biggest thing is 12xm cyst. Still can't believe I'm pregnant and neither could they. I fear that I will end up with frozen pelvis too because of their terrible attitude to Endo. I'm so grateful for conceiving.. I've to pinch myself all the time..just shocked they can just discharge me from their list when still in the same need. Hugs to you Minchoo

I have a frozen pelvis. But my endo developed over 2 years. Suggest you go back to your GP and get back on the list, by the time your on it. You will have had the baby. Shame they did this instead of writing to you in 9 months!

They said once I've had the baby I'm to start all over again with asking the doc for referral. So another two years? I really really hope not I don't know how to begin it all over again.
