For three years I have suffered with chronic bladder pain. My symptoms are pain when peeing almost constantly teamed with every 4-5 weeks going through a bad bout of around 4 hours of excruciating pain to the point I get really hot and my bladder feels Inflamed and full and I can’t do anything but sit on the toilet crying and wincing until the pain eventually eases and burning when I pee stops (normally 4 hours). I have been referred to urology and had two cystoscopys both of which said bladder is fine. I have also been perscibed countless antibiotics for bladder infections. I am on the depo injection so haven’t had periods in years as this stops them. It’s only as I’ve stumbled accriss this site (whilst in agony looking for answers) that I’ve thought endo could be what’s causing it? Has anyone else had an experience like this? Thanks so much!

I was in the same situation as you. I was having such chronic bladder pain, constant infections or the feeling of an infection. I found out I had a bladder condition called trigonitis. However I'm now being investigated for endometriosis as well. I wouldnt be at all surprised if you too suffer from endometriosis. If you have a look on this site and others endometriosis does affect the bladder. Don't lose hope and insist on seeing a gynaecologist! X
