Yes, my lap didn't change this. At one point I was flooding through pad and jeans within five minutes of changing. I am now using natural progesterone cream, which has given me really light (albeit less regular) periods.
Oh this was not the answer I was hoping for, it seems a lap doesn’t really do much 😪glad you are a bit better, it’s awful isn’t it the amount of blood that leaks through clothes and makes you so paranoid xx
Sorry, didn't mean to depress you! I misunderstood and thought you had already had the lap and were checking if continued flooding was normal To be honest, my case is a bit complicated because I have Lyme as well as endo and I suspect a lot of my hormonal symptoms are actually due to that rather than the endo (or at least, exacerbating it). So I'd be more inclined to base your decisions on what others experience. I hope you find a good way forward - it's no fun constantly checking for leaks!
Hey, I'm 5 months post second lap and my periods are better than they used to be - I don't have the flooding that I used to - of course if I left it too long it could happen like at night time. I'm still always prepared so I'll have a pad and tampons on my first day. I'm trying out the menstrual cups but I can't always get them out so I panic a bit lol!
I'm looking into those period pants - for the heavy days to catch the accidents. I wouldn't wear them instead of pads, I'd wear them as well as so there's no leaks.
