I’m in so much pain today. Iv barely slept because of the pain. I’ve taken so many painkillers over the weekend and it just seems to be getting worse. Can’t even stand up straight without feeling like all my insides are tearing!!
It’s been a tough weekend in work, and as a waitress faced with a month of Christmas parties ahead, I just don’t know how I’m going to cope!
:’-(
Fell like I’m constantly moaning to my family and friends, and that they’re getting bored of it all.
Felling so low! 😣😢

I also work as a waitress and between not getting enough sleep from waking up bloated and in pain, then having to do 12hr shifts running about at work.... just feels like I can’t take it anymore!!
Aw it’s tough isn’t it. I’m at work now, lunch break, but I daren’t sit down, I might not be able to get back up. Lol.
Now I’m here, and moving about, the pain isn’t so bad. Seems to help me to keep active. It’s when I get home and sit down that it all kicks back in. And first thing in the morning is always pretty bad.
This morning though, I was just feeling really crappy.
Yeah I know what you mean, there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to mine... it’s just sort of constant no matter what I do, I could spend the week in bed with a hot water bottle!!!
Work is a distraction but sometimes I feel close to tears with the pain 😕
We are strong though, it takes a lot to be this physically and mentally drained and still deal with customers!!
It’s nice to have a space like this though, helps to know you aren’t alone ❤️
So sorry you feel like that, I feel similar but am post operation so hope it’s temporary.
I’m sure your friends and family care about you and will want you to feel better they won’t mind you letting off steam. You always have this community too. It’s better to let it out than keep it bottled up. Even though it’s hard you’re obviously a strong person so keep focusing on the positives. Xmas is full on so do what you can do and what you want to do - and what your body can manage even if that is frustrating when it’s less than you may want.
Have you got plans for treatment as feeling like you do every day is exhausting 😥 I hope that the medical profession could do something to improve that for you.
I’m waiting to see the specialist. It’s been a long time!!
I havnt had a laparoscopy yet. So no idea what treatment they are doing to advise.
Just taking pain killers flat out at the moment.
I’ve had 2 surgery’s already, and still recovering from that.
I had surgery for hernia repair, although I always knew it wasn’t a hernia.
During that surgery the surgeon realised it wasn’t a hernia and was convinced it was a Granuloma, so had further surgery to remove this. Again, I knew it wasn’t a Granuloma.
Finally, after having that “mass” removed and sent off for testing, came the Endo diagnosis.
So both surgery’s were completely unnecessary, and have actually probably made the Endo worse. 😔.
Like you said, it is completely exhausting trying to cope with this pain every day. They’ve said the earliest I will see the specialist is early February, feels like a lifetime away!!
The mornings are always worse for me.
But plenty of painkillers and makeup, slap a smile on my face, and get on with it.
You are very brave. Sounds like you’ve had a really rough time with surgery. I can’t imagine how frustrating that must be - as you say especially if it’s compounded your symptoms.
When you have your appt with the specialist make sure you’re explaining how badly this is impacting your life. I didn’t get too much trouble with the people I’ve seen to be honest but I could tell by their faces when I said I couldn’t sleep at night that it was compelling them to do something. It isn’t about “hamming it up” but it is about showing just how devastating this condition can be. Hopefully you don’t have too long to wait. Both times I’ve gone down the treatment road I had transvaginal scan, cystoscope and laparoscopy. The second time my treatment has been better as it was by a specific endo specialist.
Hope you manage to have as good a day as you can today and keep posting on here to vent! Xx
Sorry you are in so much pain my daughter gets the lupron shot and is getting the third one this week. Nothing has helped the pain until this shot( it took three months ) it’s been three days with no pain killers after taking them for so long. I’m hoping it keeps working. Maybe you could try it. Good luck
Must be horrible for you especially standing all day. Go back to your gp and see if you can get an earlier appt as its affecting your job. I was on zoladex for many years and it was great. Im 62 now, had ovaries removed 4 years ago. Although i dont get periods i have ibd due to endo on bowel. I have to be careful what i eat and stress will flair it up. You need earlier diagnosis if poss x
