hi everyone, i need some advice. i'm not sure where to go from here... diagnosed with stage 2&3 endo a year ago via lap. general gyn consultant performed the lap, was very nice and explained everything fairly well. i had a follow up and my symptoms reduced quite a so i was discharged. for the past year i've had upper right side and now left side abdo pains, sometimes they feel muscular like spasms and now also bowel symptoms and terrible lower back pain. my gp is very dismissive of endo involvement higher up and bowel issues being a possible endo problem. i had an ultrasound, blood test and stool test recently all of which were normal. my symptoms are on the rise on they to be focusing on specific things, like checking liver and gallstones and now have been referred to a gastrenterologist with a 3 month wait. what makes me comes back to endo is that all my symptoms started at once.
i don't know if my bowels would have been checked during my lap but i just can't shake the feeling that it's endo. so i'm unsure what to do now, im currently on desogestrol and been taking it for a couple of weeks. do i need to wait out the gastro appointment ? i have asked about it being endo and the possibility of referral but gp doesn't think it's related so i can't get referred. the gyn specialist discharged me on my follow up appointment so i don't suppose i would be able to go back there. i'm just a bit lost at the moment
