So 2 days ago I had my second lap within 2 years and they found more endometriosis on my overies and also that one of my filopian tubes was stuck to my bowel. It took a while for anyone to tell me exactly what was going on if they had or hadn’t found anything. I was just wondering has anyone else had that same experience as me where their surgeon hasn’t actually given them the time of day to explain what they did in the surgery. The only reason I know is because I persevered every nurse till someone told me the bare minimum information.
Thanks xx

Aww no that's awful; I found out straight after surgery as my specialist came to tell me what they'd done, then he came round just before I was discharged to repeat his findings - as I may not have remembered when in recovery - and check if I had any other questions. I then had a post op 2 weeks later when I was shown photos and explained again. I think it depends on if it's NHS or private (mine was private).
You should have your notes sent to your GP so you can always ring up there and ask if they have them then book an appointment to go through it with them.
