Help! Freaking out

Hi all,

I’m having a bit of a freak out, I’m having a particularly bad period been in bed for nearly 2 days taking codeine and ibuprofen every 4 hours.

I’m freaking out though because my poo is like dark dark red almost black

Has anyone had this with endometriosis before? Should I go to a&e?

I’ve got Endometriosis and regularly experience blood during bowel movements but nothing to the extent that you describe. If this is something you’re worried about I would suggest at the very least visit your GP. Any severe pain, fever, sickness etc go to A&E don’t wait for your GP. I hope you get this sorted.

Hi, I had that problem and my GP did a stool test. I ended up with a bacterial infection and had to have 2weeks of antibiotics.

Or

Maybe drink more warm water and see how it goes. U might just be dehydrated.....

If u worried then it’s better to see ur gp.
