I have been put on pregabalin for endo pain and have found it does help a little with the pain, but sadly now i have started getting sharp stabbing headache pains during the day and my eyes have also been going in and out of focus alot. I am wondering if this medication is the cause? has anyone else had experience with pregabalin and did you have any bad side effects? does it take a while for it to start working?

Pregabalin
Hey, I’ve been on that and I had the same i was told it should settle down after a couple of weeks but it never did for me, then my hair started to fall out too so I stopped them. I think I remember being told they build up in your system so it would maybe take a while to start working properly and for the side effects calm down. Hope this helps x
I take pregablin for anxiety and it works amazingly for that, barely any side effects, though I found it did little to help with my endo pain when I had horrendous cramps due to my coil. Had the coil out and on my last period i barely had a cramp, though no idea if that' the pregablin or the coil coming out. The side effects do subside, I had really bad dizziness and almost fainted, but after being on it for a long while now I have nothing at all. It just takes a while. Give it a chance, it's a pretty decent drug if I'm honest and has been shown to reduce certain kinds of pain.
I’ve had some odd side effects when I took Pregablin like yourself felt my focus was weird and had a few dizzy moments where I’d come over woozy or faint like - that said I found it helped with my Endo and the benefits outweighed the negatives. Maybe give it time I think it can take a few weeks in my case anyway to settle down. I hope you find the side effects lessen for you.
