Waiting Game

I saw my gynae today and told him the 3 injections of prostap had stopped the monthly pains from adenomyosis. I signed the paperwork for a hysterectomy and I’m having a total hysterectomy via key hole but may have to be opened up due to me having fibroids and a large uterus. I asked to go on HRT and he’s given me Tibolone until I have my operation. I have a 2-3 month wait for my operation. How long do you have to wait until the hospital sends you a date for your operation?

Hi I have been told my op will be this year so in total around a 4 month wait. That’s if it is actually in 2018, waiting patiently on my letter. I have Adenomyosis too, can I ask what symptoms you get if you don’t mind?

Hi

My symptoms were excruciating pain like labour at its worst around the time my period was due. It lasted at the most 2 days. Normal pain killers didn’t stop it, codeine helped but not enough. I ended up on morphine. X
