Has anyone been put on this for helping endo? I was prescribed it to see if it helps the endo on bowel but since taking it now a couple weeks I seem to be in pain again from what I was this last couple of weeks.

Does it take while to settle and help? x

Hiya Annimay43 - I asked a similar question about this pill a few days ago. I was prescribed it after being diagnosed with a fibroid (along with my existing diagnosis of stage 4 endo and endometrioma on right ovary - it's like an oestrogen party in my abdomen, only I didn't send out any invites and wish they'd all sod off!). The reason for my prescription was to help with heavy periods as opposed to pain, but reading other posts on here and elsewhere on the web, it does seem to be a bit of a wonder pill IF you get on with it.

I've been on it for nearly a month and in that time have had light bleeding for almost 3 weeks so far, which has been exhausting and annoying in equal measure. I'm led to believe that 3 months is the magic turning point at which most women find out whether it's going to be 'the one' for them or not. So if you can stick it out until then, you may find it starts to work for you and the pain eases. If after that time you find it's still not working though, it might be worth going back to your GP and/or consultant as there are a number of other POPs they can prescribed for you, all of which work in much the same way as Cerazette does.

I am on desomono i believe it is the same hormone just a different brand? I been on it for 3 months now. Every morning I legit get a 3 hour period (no joke!) I take my pill between 10-11 am normally and get this pain and bleeding at 7am on the dot. so every morning i have 3 hours of hell and then it settles. also random as hell bleeding. Maybe I need to give it a few more weeks? I believe its common with the mini pill. My DR said its unfortunate we have limited options 9 nothing with estrogen in) I miss the reliable good old combined but after exiction of stage 3 at 19 Im forced to stay on this. xxx
