How long did it take you to get results from MRI scan? And in what form did you receive them.

I am newly diagnosed with stage 4 had my lap and bow waiting for surgery to remove the endo after this mri.

Sorry I can’t be of much help but I would be interested in knowing the answer. I had an MRI just under a month ago, but still haven’t heard anything.

They told me to call in 2 weeks if I haven't heard so I will call Monday

Hello ladies,

I had an MRI scan on Friday 27th July through the NHS and I’ve been booked in for an appointment on 8th August to receive the results so it’s been a quick process for me! Hope that helps xx

Hey I was diagnosed stage 4 endo in April this year, like you they couldn’t remove anything . I got my follow up app 3 weeks later and then I went for mri , They told me I don’t get results as I’m already diagnosed from having lap the mri is to show them how deep adhesions are they need mri result for multi disciplinary meeting I had my meeting with 3 surgeon’s as I need the 3 surgeon’s for my next op , I received a letter from my specialist/surgeon telling me they’ve discussed me at the mdm meeting and my op will be ASAP also sent me an appointment letter with my specialist 20th August he wants to see me before my op , it’s such a long process the worst it the waiting.. but to be honest I’m glad they’ve not rushed it to get me in to get op straight away I’m glad they have discussed me at there meeting ..

have you had your follow up app? Mines wasn’t long then only waited another 3 weeks for mri. Xx

No i have not received any thing I will call Monday. Yes in my letter when I left the hospital it says they are referring me to the endo team as I need a gyne a bowel specialist and maybe a bladder specialist to and I read the have a meeting once a month x
