Sensitive and bloated tummy
Hi! Sorry you’re going through this! I have the exact same thing! I can’t wear jeans for more than two hours before they get unbearable! I’m due my lap in September so until then I’m living in leggings and soft sport/pj shorts (a size up so they’re not tight), and floaty dresses! I’ve tried many things for the bloating and nothing has seemed to help so far :/ x x x
My dr thought I had cysts and so did I (I get sharp one sided pain and senstivity building for a few weeks then it suddenly feels like someone pours scalding water on my pelvis and it dies down and goes), but I've had quite a few US including one the day after the scalding pain and they haven't found anything.
At least the weather is good and it doesn't look odd to wear floaty dresses, I'm dreading if this continues into autumn! I have my normal trousers and my swollen 'maternity' trousers already - but still can't bare any material on my hips/tummy at the moment!
X
A little tip for trousers is to use a bobble to loop through the hole and around the button, I swear it allows for an extra two sizes and can be varied with different bobbles.
I’m in a very similar situation myself and not sure what to think. I had a lap to remove bowel endo and have had sharp rightside pain since. Not sure if it’s related to the op or something going on with my ovary.
Do you find it difficult to stand up straight? My legs literally buckle from under me and I can’t move
Hola Hele
I am so sorry to hear that you are not feeling too well. I too have this problem in addition to many other issues that parallel with endometriosis. Now, stay with me as this may sound strange but it works for me. ...wait... let me put my sunglasses on an hide my face. 🕶🙂 😎
Now, I can tell you... I soak a small piece of gauze in 100% pure castor oil and insert it partially into my vaginal and another piece into my rectum at night. I rub my pelvic area with the castor oil and place a heating pad on my stomach at night while I sleep. It is also important to make sure that your stomach and bowels remain as clear as possible as constipation also causes pelvic pressure. The castor oil reduces the swelling which also reduces that heavy feeling. I also avoid wearing clothing that can be binding and avoid heavy lifting. That can cause swelling as well. To address my constant urge to urinate, I take a teaspoon of BAKING SODA in a glass of water. This reduces the acid in the urine which can cause bladder irritation causing the urge to urinate.
As strange as it may sound, this greatly reduces my issues with endometriosis better than any medicine that I have ever taken. Please check with your doctor first as I am not a physician. These are old remedies that were originallyused for other issues but, I find that they also help greatly with the issues I have due to the endometriosis.
I pray that this helps you. I totally understand the frustration and feeling of hopelessness that comes with constant pain. Please keep us updated.
