Bladder symptoms

Hey, hope everyone is okay tonight

Today has been really bad for my bladder today, I’ve not drank anything for a while but constantly feel like I need to wee. I go and then 5 minutes later the feeling comes back and I can’t get comfy. It feels like a pressure kind of feeling.

In the mornings, I get bad pain after going which lasts a few hours.

Anyone else get this or similar?

hi! I know exactly what you're talking about. I told my doctor the exact symptoms and she told me that she thinks I have IC. she referred me to a urologist so I see them this month. Look into IC and maybe schedule an appointment with a urologist! lots of women with endo also have it as well as GI problems, so they can all mesh together symptom wise when we have idea!

I’ve just had a look and it sounds like what I have pressure wise and needing a wee constantly. I have days where it’s so bad and others where it’s okay. Tonight is a bad day, I can’t get comfy in bed or anything xx

oh wow! I am so sorry! I would write down your symptoms and what is causing them (like a full bladder or something) and get to a urologist and show it to them asap! hope you find the relief you need xx

I have my lap at the end of the month hopefully so Would IC show up then? Xx

you would think it would, but actually IC is on the INSIDE of the bladder. it actually looks just like endo but only on the inside of your bladder! your bladder on the outside can look perfect but it can have problems on the inside that you cannot see unless they go in there. maybe your doctor could go in there during the lap and check? I don't know the exact procedure to diagnose IC, but I would ask them!

I won’t see my surgeon until before surgery but I will definitely mention it to him x

Maybe it's the weather? I was constantly going for a wee yesterday. Dunno if I was still drinking for the heat and not sweating as much out or what!

It’s been like this even before the heatwave started and I’m sweating quite a lot as well

Omg. I thought I was the only one! Straight after my period for 7 days I get this every month so much bladder pressure and pain only after I’ve gone , I literally don’t drink anything and everytime I go I feel like I haven’t even peed and need to go again . I go 22 times a day sometimes and I know this is endo Becuase after my lap all these symptoms dissapeared. I think the bladder gets really inflamed and irritated from the outside it would make sense during a flare . :/ I just stop my periods all together it helps a lot with this irritated bladder thing xxx

Yeah this is after my period that it goes so bad. I didn’t drink anything before bed and still went 10 times before I could go to sleep without thinking I need a wee. I’m sweating a lot because of the weather so I shouldn’t be needing the loo that much.

I get pain if my bladder is full and in the morning just after I’ve been xx

This is exactly like meeee, I honestly thought it was just me but honestly it’s not ic it’s definetly endo related, I had a cystoscopy (bladder camera ) they found nothing it was only after my lap that all these symptoms dissapeared even after periods , it lasted for 1 year before my endo came back so don’t worry too much xxxxx

Would I be able to ask my surgeon to do a cystoscope during my lap in a couple of weeks xxxx

I’m not sure love as you will be having an invasive procedure, it may cause you even more discomfort but it could be possible honey xxx

I get this, it’s awful, sometimes I can wake them up 10+ times a night for a wee, it’s absolutely awful, and if I don’t wee, the pain will get so bad I vomit 😩 x

Omg that’s awful. I just get cramps if I don’t go for a wee. Should I mention it to my surgeon on the day? Would he be able to look inside my bladder xx

I do get the really bad cramps as well but if I don’t wee it gets bad! Your surgeon wont check inside as he isn’t a urologist, mine didn’t give a sh*te when I told him and told me he didn’t check my bladder, when I asked post surgery if he did, yet on the letter I got post surgery, the one he sent to my gp, he told me he checked it, so I’m mad confused 😩 would for sure be worth a mention though cos he might play closer attention to that area, if he doesn’t find anything there ask to be referred to a urologist for a cystoscopy they’d be able to check inside your bladder then x

It’s funny I’ve just seen this. I’ve seen a urologist today. Confirmed endometriosis by lap on 20th June. I get the same symptoms and frequently have blood in my urine. I have a scan booked for Thursday and the urologist is planning to do another op to see if my bladder stretches? I’m sure il find out more when the letter arrives. If it doesn’t feel right, best place is the doctors. Provided u have a a good one. It’s taken me years to get this far 🙈. Good luck

Hola 09! Sorry to hear about the bladder issues. I am not a doctor but, I read that the urge to urinate can come from many things. However, it is usually the result of your urine being too acidic causing the urge to urinate. I have that problem and take a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water to stop the urge. Please check with your doctor first. You can also check out the benefits of taking a small amount of baking soda on You Tube. I pray that this helps you. 😊
