Feel a fricking mess!

Got my surgery on Monday and my anxiety is through the roof! On Zoladex so sleeping is crap (but pain better at least) . Have a suspected urine infection which I’m being treated for. Got awful hayfever, head feels like a brick and sinuses heavy and itchy throughout night. I drink a lot of herbal tea but have not been allowed to for over a week so I’m missing them. On liquid food tomorrow and bowel prep Sunday. I just feel so crap and feel like breaking down I’m so overwhelmed. X

Ah I’ve been exactly the same before my op yesterday! Had to take the two days off before as felt so anxious and emotional. I have no answers otherwise and if you’re op is Monday that won’t help. Be strong. Cry if you need to. Try to sleep in the day and don’t feel guilty about it.

I wish you all the best for Monday. Although in discomfort today after mine yesterday, I feel better in my head for it being done. xxx

Thank you! I had a good ten hour sleep last night (although broken) but it’s better than nothing. I feel really heady.. think it’s a combo of hay fever and mild cold. But I’m taking care of myself. LOTS of fluids and healthy soups today! Nothing more I can do, an operation is no hair cut lol. How can we not be scared, worried and apprehensive. My mind won’t rest but I’m doing all I can to make myself feel better at this stressful time! Fingers crossed all goes to plan x
