Been diagnosed with Endo, due to my symptoms. I've been put on a course of prosap injections for 6 months.

I feel like I have developed memory loss, having very unbalanced sensations and muffled vision. All this on top of hot flushes and extreme tiredness.

What I don't understand is, why has my consultant not put me down for having a laposcopy?

Please can anyone help me?

Hi,

Sorry to hear your having a bad time of it.

I was on the injection for about 5 months then decided to go for opp. It helped me with pain but not so much with insomnia and nite sweats. They also put me on hrt. That was supposed to help with symptoms from the injection but my body rejected the hrt.

I was put in these injections too. I actually had 8 before they decided to operate on me. I always feel like I have to jump through various hoops to get me to an operation.

Persevere with them and tell the consultant how they honestly make you feel.

If you’re finding the side effects bad, you could ask to go on HRT alongside? I was given this with my second injection. Any questions feel free to ask/inbox x

I've been told I have to be on my gosrelin implants for a year before they will consider any surgery. I know the frustration you are feeling. I was having memory problems and my add back HRT was changed from tibolone to Elleste duet conti . I did have to insist on getting the add back HRT and I insisted because of my age and having untreated endo for 17 years I am heavily predisposed to developing osteo arthritis (already in R knee and lumbar) . don't know if this helps. good luck .

saying "I know the frustration you are feeling" isn't what I meant. I don't know your personal feelings. I just meant that I had some empathy with your situation. I'm pretty new to message boards and this kind of communication. sorry if I came off the wrong way.
