Just wondering has anyone had the mirena coil as a way to try help with symptoms. If so did your skin become incredibly itchy?

I’m 2 weeks post laparoscopy and 2 weeks post mirena coil fitting, but my body is so itchy I’m itching till I bleed. If anyone has had a similar experience what did you do that helped it?

I've found with every type of hormone I've taken, my skin has been itchy for the first few moths or so while my body got used to it. It was horrific, I'd lie in bed all night feeling like bugs were crawling all over me and scratched til I bled! Plus I know general anaesthetic can make you itchy as it wears off, mine lasted for a good month or so after surgery! x

I’m so relieved, I’m not the only one. Nights are the worst but I can’t find anything to relieve it x

Yeah neither did I, ended up coming off all hormones in the end and never been itchy since haha!
