What do I need to do or take before my laparoscopy

Hi ladies I am due to have my laparoscopy on Tuesday ( my birthday!) I had the preop in December and have lost the leaflets I was given. What do I need to do or take? The appointment letter just states the no food and take sanitary tablets. Thanks in advance

They told me I need to bring a dressing gown and slippers to walk down to theatre in. I'm also taking magazines, pads and peppermint tablets for the trapped gas x

Some boiled fruit sweets will be nice for afterwards too because my mouth is always dry.

There will be a chance you may need to stay overnight so a nightie and a change of underwear would be good to take, and toothbrush, toothpaste and some face wipes.

Peppermint tablets/tea and windeze very good for afterwards. I took dulcoease when I got home too to make it easier to go to the bathroom after the op xxx
