Awaiting my first lap. Gyneacholigist has put me on Microgynon back to back. Felt great for a Month, but now symptoms are horrendous. :(

Hi gals..

So as the title suggests in a nutshell really.

I've had an awful past 2 days; pain has been at it's very worst, horrendous headaches, night sweats and I've had no energy to do anything at all - not even basic household chores or washing my hair.

I'm unable to get an appointment with my GP and also unable to get in contact with my gyneacholigist's secretary (she advised me to call her if I am "unable to cope").

All I've done today is cry and I'm really at a loss as to what to do next.

Is the pill exacerbating my symptoms and why is it doing so now?

Should I stop taking it? In the absence of professional advice, I really don't know where to turn.

The pill might not be agreeing with you, I’d try the Consultants Secretary and explain your symptoms and ask if she’ll speak to the Consultant for you. It might be best for a different pill or treatment option to be tried, because how you’re feeling doesn’t sound too good. Ask if you should continue to take the pill in the meantime. You’ve been on the pill for a relatively short time so it could just be settling down but I would call for advice. Let us know how you get on xxx
