Bad wind before period?

I know this is pretty gross but does anyone else get really bad wind just before their period starts? I don’t know whether it’s endo related but I get burning wind and tummy cramps, period pains, endo pain where I find it hard to sleep and I get deep pains in my private areas!

Hi, that all sounds hard going! I've not been diagnosed but am on a pathway to determine whether they do a laparoscopy. (Just started prostap to see what happens) I've always had IBS symptoms but since my periods started to get far worse over the last year I get two bouts a month of bad wind, at ovulation with period cramping days 14-19 and same again before my period. It's uncomfortable to pass the wind and pardon tmi but is really odorous 😨 never used to be! So much so now my husband has nicknamed it 'barnyard bum'!! I also feel a bit like I have a hot finger up my bottom on an evening / night time and the period-like cramps wake me up in the night at ovulation and towards my period. Day before my period and first day of it is so very painful. And at both I get bowel cramps too and a dodgy stomach. All good fun eh?!

Hmm I use to get bad wind but since on the fodmap diet it had helps alot.... I do get occasionally pain up the bowels coming up to the cycle have been keeping an eye on it..... It always seems to be around the cycle time so far I have notice it so.... Off to have a ultrasound to check it out and gotta do a repeat blood test 😏 so something isn't clear on that, I will find out sooner once I rearrange the app.
