Headaches...feel like my brain is been crushed šŸ˜”

Was just curious whether anyone else experiences really bad headaches before and during their period? It's roughly a week before my period is due, the time I dread as that's when my symptoms start to worsen. For the last few months I've been getting intense headaches daily that always begin in the week leading upto my period which progressively get worse, feels like there's pressure on my brain to the point I feel like putting a hole in my skull to release some of the pressure (sorry for the dramatics lol) I know headaches aren't typically associated with endo but was wondering if anyone else suffers badly with headaches? x

I do and always have and used to think it was due to my pill break each month but now I think itā€™s a hormone thing and endo related. I also suffer migraines too. Just when you think the list of symptoms canā€™t get any longer when all of a sudden ta daaaa a new symptom pops up and never leaves šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø X

Yes. Between 48-24 hours before a period every time boom migraine. Itā€™s called a pre menstrual migraine, due to change in hormones x

Yes, me too! I have had them since puberty. Runs in the family too. Many different tests have shown it is related to the ups and downs, changes in hormone levels throughout the cycle. Mine got worse with Endo. But have always been a part of my life. In fact, I have had 2 endo surgeries for a rare type in the abdomen called Scattered Endo - and each removal an acceleration of estrogen was released causing even worse migraines. The pill is the worst offender, I went off them years ago. Even the Progesterone based ones as it is psuedo progesterone, and it is converted by the body into xeno-estrogens - this means that estrogens are much higher in the system than they should be - hence migraines. Mine happen at ovulation and period times, lasting several days. You are NOT alone!!!

I was on the implant 8 years ago and my headaches got that bad they sent me for an mri on my brain, I also suffer worse on the pill. I do have daily headaches but I can cope with them until it gets near my period then I'm bed bound
