Lump

Hello Ladies,

I've had a mri scan a few weeks ago. Got results Thursday.

My specialist told me my endometriosis is very bad but it's not stuck to my bowel.

But the mri has found a lump in my groin but my specialist couldn't feel anything. Have any of you ladies experiniced this.

My specialist has told me he's going to have to take a biopsy of the lump.

Have any of you ladies experiniced this and how was it solved. I'm a little worried. :(

Thanks

Sam

Hi

I had a similar experience. I had an ultrasound that showed a large mass in my bladder. I had to wait around 3 months before I got a biopsy and I was beyond stressed!

When the results came back it was a large chocolate cyst. Turned out I had Stage 4 endometriosis, it really can get everywhere!

It's easy for me to say but try not to stress too much, there is probably a very simple explanation for it.

Hope this helps. Good luck with it all x

It is most likely that it is just a lump of endo, sometimes it just forms a ball of cells, I had one that moved about. The specialist not being able to feel it just means that it is somewhere they can't feel or it is moveable, so as soon as they put pressure on the area it moves.

They have probably done some blood tests by this stage, maybe months back, they would have tested for any signs on cancer but they probably didn't tell you they were testing for that in order to not worry you.

Hi, my wife has been told she has to have a biopsy after being told she has endometriosis. Can I ask if everything turned out ok for you? I guess I’m looking for some reassurance
