Hey, I understand how you are feeling. Im sure I have read before you are due to get a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis so it could be that which is causing the pain. My doctors are pretty useless at helping with my pain too but have you tried asking for an emergency appointment? All doctors should provide them and waiting 3 weeks in pain is not acceptable. I have had to go to A&E a few times to get pain relief as my doctors wont prescribe me anything strong enough to work. Is going to a&e an option for you? What kind of painkillers have you tried? Doctors are usually reluctant to prescribe anything strong as they dont understand the pain endo can cause, especially if you are young it makes them even harder to get them to listen to you. I once had to phone the gynos secretary to get an emergency appointment through them as my doctors was being rediculous, could you try doing that? The secretary was really kind and understanding on the phone.
I’ve tried strong codeine, there are no emergency appointments at my doctors and I don’t want to go A&E as I’m not dying so don’t wanna waste their time especially if it’s just a cyst.
If an ovary cyst is bursting would I feel it in the middle of my right side like Under my rib.
My gynae doesn’t have secretary that I’m aware of, I’ve seen that many I can’t even remember her name and she was scary.
They will just give me painkillers which I can’t afford anyways as my current prescription is £20. Plus the waiting times are a joke here even at walk in centres
I know but if your in pain you need to be seen to. I was in agony a few weeks back and went to the walk in centre I had to wait 5 hours but they managed to ring gynae and they prescribed me two types of painkillers one which actually helps a lot and have said they’ll bring my appointment forward
You could go and ask them to ring gynae also I recommend asking to be put on diclofenac suppositories. There horrible but they work so good nothing touched my pain but these actually do
