Bottled water and increased pain?

I have been drinking bottled water for 4 mths. My pain became worse over these months I did connect it to the bottled water. Because I was ill I wasn't able to buy any bottled sparkling water. After recovering from being unwell. I still didn't go out cos I had too much to catch up on at home. My Endo was improving about a third less. After finally buying my bottled water my pain increased up. There seems to be a link. I can't prove it, except for myself I won't be purchasing any more water in plastic bottles. Thanks for reading.

The plastic in bottled water leaches into the water over time, and these chemicals increase the estrogens in the body, which can make the endo worse.

I've read about this in theory many times - I am interested to hear that you have actually seen the evidence.

I’ve been drinking water in plastic bottles for years and I don’t see a link in my pain increasing as I’ve always had bad pains it’s just they get worse during my period. That’s obviously just my view but wonder if anyone else has the same problem as you.

I think Josandy40 is trying to say that if you stopped drinking water from plastic bottles you might see a decrease in your pain over a few weeks.

The problem is likely to be worse the longer the water has sat in the bottle, so putting filtered tap water in a bottle to carry round for the day would probably be OK.
