Anybody else here that has endo while taking isotretinion(acctuane) for their acne?

My endo has got considerably worse since starting my tablets 2 months ago, and was wondering if it’s known for making it worse?

Thanks x

Hey,

Are you on another form of contraception? I was on the mirena while I took isotrentinoin and my endo stayed quite manageable throughout. Sorry I can’t be more use :/ xx

I’m on the pill, have been for 5/6 years, my endo was manageable before the tablets, but has got so bad while on these tablets:( considering stopped isotretinion if it’s making this bad.

Thanks for the reply! xx

How long have you been on the isotreninoin for? Is it worth persevering with it? I know it must be really tough but since I’ve taken the skin tablets my skin is so much better and I finally don’t have to worry about it and nearly every day is a no make up day :) xx

Started it end of February, on 50mg. Yeah, it’s tough, I think I’ll be able to bear the pain, as I’m dying for good skin and have had heard good results from these tablets, just exhausting taking all these tablets, making me feel like poop. Haven’t spoken to anybody else who took isotretinion and had endo! xx

I hear you :( it is exhausting and seems extremely unfair that we have endo plus bad acne but at least at the end of the tablets it’s one last thing to worry about it xxx
