Round lump groin

Morning ladies

I have found a round lump in the right hand crease of my groin. Due on my period any day, is this normal? x

Please go to your gp to get this checked out. My friend has a similar lump and is having it biopsied next week which does suggest it’s not normal xxx

I have a laparoscopy booked in for next Monday, so hopefully they would pick up anything sinister then?

I thought it could maybe be a gland or cyst, but wasn’t sure if it was the right area.

They may not look at that in your laparoscopy as if it's not accessible via the inside of abdomen they won't be looking. Also they don't tend to look at anything new after the pre-op has been carried out.

It's best to get it checked by your GP as it may need to be mentioned before lap or may need to be checked before.

I agree, take it to the gp- better to be over cautious than not.

Thank you for your advice! 🙂 I’ll give the GP a ring. I didn’t want to look stupid if it was an ingrowing hair where I have shaved, although it’s not sore and feels deeper than an ingrowing hair.
