does anyone get weird bladder symptoms?

Last night I couldn't sleep as I kept getting weird cramps/spasms in my bladder like I needed a wee! I got up twice to go but it was hardly anything. But it was keeping me awake and bothering my body :(

Hi

yes i get this, and it is horrendous. Sometimes just got to put a hot water bottle between my legs to try and ease it, and naproxen sometimes helps with cocodamol. I have learnt not to have a big drink about 1-2 hours before I go to sleep now as I know it will keep me awake. I really empathise.

glad I'm not alone, I don't get it every night but my period is due soon and last night was awful!

When things are bad for me bladder wise everything feels swollen and full of liquid. I wakeup atleast twice every night with a horrible sickening pressure if I have any urine at all to empty. Honestly the only thing that helps over night is to take a sleeping pill because then i will get atleast 6 hours before I am up. I feel your pain!

I suffer with this, it’s very frustrating. I need to go to the toilet to wee a lot during the day too but it’s more annoying at night xxx

I suffer with this too day and night. I actually had it last night because my period is due in around four days.

I get feelings of either intense pressure or like someone is stabbing me in the bladder! I’ve started taking tramadol at night to help ease the pain, also find a hot water bottle helps! I also find it is worse when I’m sleeping on my side, so I try and sleep on my back if I can xxx

glad I'm not alone! It's not every night, but my period is due on Monday so I guess a flare up of symptoms last night would make sense :(

Yep, definitely I am due around Monday too and I had it bad last night so would make sense!

So weird as I was bad all through the night, and today I don’t feel too bad?!? I can never understand the symptoms!

Yep when I'm due on and first few days I get weird bladder pains like I'm full. Need to get up and go to the loo to empty constantly or I'm in pain or start to feel bursting even if I'm only holding a little bit of urine. Agree with the hot water bottle between the legs too, gives me a bit of relief from the pain
