Dealing with dyspareunia

I had a hysterectomy for severe endometriosis 7 years ago including a cervicectomy and cervical reconstruction. 7 years down the line and sex is still painful including a day or two afterwards, like a deep, bruised strong ache which makes me nauseated. Does anyone else still have this after a hysterectomy? I get pain most days which I know myself is endo. Starting to wonder why I ever bothered with the hysterectomy because it's really no different now than before!
