I had a lap last week and my gyn found a small cyst in my vaginal wall which she removed. The pain from this is horrible! The four cuts on my stomach are practically painless but this hurts. Has anyone else had something like this found? The pathology results came back as just a normal, innocent cyst. I'm worried that it's still causing me so much pain 8 days later.

Cyst in wall of vagina
Hi, not exactly the same but I had an abscess type lump removed between my urethra that bulged into the vaginal wall, so there was a hole in the vagina wall that got sewed up, so similar to a cyst removal. Apart from the first couple of days where it was a bit painful it went away pretty quick and was just a little uncomfortable. I was on complete rest for 3 weeks and didn’t poke around down there at all. I’d suggest if it’s still that painful after 8 days get it looked at to check there’s no infection. I was on antibiotics but I’d also had my urethra repaired.
Hi, I had a cyst grow on the vaginal wall after my hysterectomy. Mine was drained under ultra sound and I was given a course of antibiotics. It was sore for a a while and I had to avoid sex for three weeks after the procedure, but once the swelling subsided I felt so much better. I would go and get checked out as it’s an area prone to infection after the type of surgery you had. Hope you feel much better soon xxx
