It could be bladder infection, I would go and see my GP and get tested!!

I suffer with a chronic bladder infection but never felt a feeling of pressure / fullness / something there / moving before :(

If the wee is cloudy, it’s an infection.

I had this problem, they thought it was endo so had a lap but it wasnt but got sent to a pelvic floor physio specialist and mine was so tight it was what was causing me all the pain. I couldnt release it so wasnt able to wee properly or poo as i couldnt release the muscle.. the pain was bad all in pelvis and buttocks and felt full all time but would just drip when had wee...

i have seen the physio 4 times and wow what a difference.

All those exploratory exams and i didnt need it...

It common in women of 40ish that lead busy lives, exercise and who have always exercised there stomach muscles which i have i was also told by mum at early age to do me pelvic exercises and it really didnt don me any good whatsoever i always had bladder infections all because it was so tight.

I’m only 26 however they couldn’t even get the wand in to do a trabsvaginal they said my muscles were way too tight.

Well i got to say i think mine started in my early 30s as i used to have trouble with smear tests and sex has always been abit uncomfy.

If u had trouble getting a wand into ur vagina for scan then i would say i may want to see a pelvic floor therapist there was a big story on it in the dailymail at weekend it is soool common now coz women are so stressed and busy we hold our stress in our pelvis and then we end up with severe problems... with bladder and bum , hips , pelvic pain... i have been in so much pain.. i thought i had kidney stone, bladder cancer, endo, ovaries cancer. It been awful...

It a weird experience having ur pelvic floor massaged but thats there job and once u had it done for 5 mins u just forget what ur having done and i could hold my wee in straight after, i could poo and wee without pain. My period are 70% better! It is pretty unbelieveable. I not got round to sex yet because im abit freaked put about it but hopefully that will come in time

Hi Hun don’t worry we are in the same boat I have this at least once around ovulation it’s like so much discomfort around my bladder constantly making me feel like there is something stuck there , I deffo think it’s hormone related tbh with you but it settles over time I’ve noticed it isn’t so bad after lap I stopped having baths and I stopped using scented detergents for my underwear and it’s helped . I think I get really sensitive around my urethra at certain times of the month and I deffo think it’s hormone related don’t worry xxxx

I wonder if this is like the feeling I’ve just posted about. Nothing feels like it’s moving though. Just a pressure that feels like cystitis in my bladder. But doesn’t hurt to wee. Have you got a coil in too?

Ok. Hope you find an answer soon x

I've had this feeling for a long time. Have you been tested for vaginismus, might explain the tightness and could also explain the feeling as mine has eased since treating vaginismus x

Could it not be a prolapse?

Hi Kate345,

Sorry to hear you feel pressure/something moving symptoms and feel scared. I'd strongly recommend seeing your GP asap- that way you'll get professional guidance and hopefully the problem sorted soon.

Take care,

Ugne

It’s stopped now I think it was just discharge coming down!

Are your symptoms cyclical?

I have bladder endometriosis, ie. endo on, through, and inside my bladder, and I have the same symptoms a week aftr my periods up to ovulation time. It feels like cystitis or chronic/cyclical UTI.

Please note that these symptoms can also be linked to interstitial cystitis (which can be detected by cystoscopy).

You could also have a narrow urethra (I have) whereby you can’t empty your bladder properly and always feel like you need to go.

Endo could be on your bladder and urethra and constrict thé so it affects how you go!

It could also be pelvic inflammatory disease I think but am not familiar with this. 🎗
