just make yourself as comfortable as possible! It won’t be easy but soon you’ll be home and be able to get into bed x

I had this on flight home from sardinia! Came on at 4 in morning was in agony and had to get on bus at 6.30.

I basically took naproxen/ibuprofen if no naproxen, my transexamic acid and two cocodamol 30/500 mg which i would never normally take all that at once but i figured i needed something to get me home! I made sure i had then in handbag so i could restock in another 4 hours!

Plus i also did two straight brandys before i got on plane which literally knocked me out as im not a drinker but u know what it worked , i slept all way home!

I also never go anywhere even hot countries without my hottie just incase i come on or heat pads u can stick on ur belly they last 12 hours i think. It just all about getting urself through certain situations.

I have my heat pads at work so i can stick one on. I am always drugged up in handbag.... i just make sure im always prepared for worse

I didn’t bring any painkillers or a heat pad like an idiot haha 😫😫 hopefully the airport has a chemist to buy a heat pad. I’m too bloated to have alcohol and feel so sick

Hopefully you can get a heat patch. I never go anywhere without one. In fact I never go anywhere without my emergency pack of a heat patch, paracetamol, ipruprofen, naproxen, codeine and mefenemic acid. Not all to take at once 😉 More of a just in case. Cannot tell you the amount of times I've needed it and anytime I haven't I've wished I had it. I feel for you, I once had a horrendous 7 hour flight with the absolute WORST period pain I was basically crying the whole time doubled over in pain. Good luck and I hope you are home soon x

The stress of trying to get to the airport has actually distracted me from the pain haha

Im with u on that one, i have a “ period pack” it goes everywhere with me if im away from from my house for more then 24 hours!

It packed all time in my bedside drawer... in it i have cocodamol, naproxen, paracetamol( incase it not major pain) transexamic acid, pads, tampax, heat pad and a tiny mini bottle of brandy which my own dr told me to do ha ha she said nothing will stop a cramp dead in it track like a brandy and it is true!!!! I do not drink but on my first day of period i do have one or two straight ones....

It stops cramp and kinda chills u to b able to sleep. I also suffer with indigestion when on period and it gets rid of that to.

I think as a 43 year old ive learnt to b PREPARED at all times...

Coz if i wasnt id b in a complete mess and it would spoil my holiday or whatever i was doin.

Hopefully il go through change soon and the horrid things will go away

It was the worse flight ever with the pain, I couldn’t get comfy and kept leaning forward which hurt my back even more.

So happy to be back in my own bed though haha

I definitely need to make a period pack which is a good idea
