Polysystic ovaries and lining of uterus thickened

Hi ladies,

I went to see my consultant today as I am on lots of pain with my endometriosis. My consultant did and internal ultrasound and said my ovaries looked very polysystic and the lining of my uterus was very thick. As well as this he was confused at why it was so hard to see my bladder ?!? And kept asking where I was in my cycle, but also said the images looked like what he would expect from my symptoms etc.

He has booked me in for another laparoscopy and even did my pre assessment today ( even though two month waiting list)

I feel worried, should I be? Has anyone else had similar or advise?

Thanks xx

Hi Sammiestock,

Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I know its easier said than done, but try not to worry too much until you know more. It's best to wait for the laparoscopy so your consultant can get a better idea of what is going on and then go from there.

Take care!
