I have suspected for a while that I might have endometriosis and after discussing it with my doctor on Monday she also thinks it sounds probable.
She has said I can either go for a laproscopy or can just treat as though it is endometriosis.
I can’t used the combined pill due to having had a couple of migraines with aura and the Progestogen only pill gave me acne so I stopped taking it.
She has suggested the contraceptive injection depo-provera but I’m a bit wary as this is also Progestogen based but would take 12 weeks to leave the system if I did struggle with the side effects.
I now don’t know whether I should go for a laproscopy so I know what I am dealing with? Are they painful?

See my last post! Id definitely start some treatment. Prog pill is supposed to be best for it. If cant take it, mirena coil??? If you want to seek a laparoscopy I would nt put off starting treatment for thiis. Dont let the sticky stuff take hold!Xx
Personally i'd want to know for sure if it is Endo so would opt for Laparoscopy. Depends how much pain you are in; could you start Depo anyway? Review side effects as can give headaches, i've had many. However Depo worked for me, stopped my periods so no pain and got on with my life. Good luck.
What situation are you in regarding children? If you don’t have any but want to in future then I would recommend going for the lap to give yourself the best possible chance x
