Hi everyone, I know tonnes of people with endo get pregnant but am 36 and worried about my fertility. Am trying currently but nothing so far, am being referred for scans etc to see what’s going on but just keep worrying. Just wanted to hear some good stories from those that have been successful? How long did it take, did you do anything to help? Just any advice would be gratefully received x

I have it, before I knew I had endo I got pregnant with no problems. My endo has ended up in my tubes though which had resulted in them being determined ‘sluggish’ which has caused me problems ttc no 2. Been trying for 3 years xx

We ttc for what seemed like forever, but was only 2.5 years, in the end we gave up , got cats to complete our family and fell pregnant within 3 months! We half heartedly ttc no2 (because I didn’t want the emotions of actually trying and the desperation again), but we gave up as we decided that trying to be endo symptom free was more important! I really think the decision to stop trying worked for us. Best of luck x

Hey, there I hope you're doing good. Well honestly, speaking endo can cause complications. I know a friend who has the problem and had to resort to IVF for her first child but the cycle failed thrice. Now for the 2nd baby, she has been deciding upon surrogacy after listening to my story. I don't have endo but actually much worst case where I have been declared infertile. I have a poor ovarian reserve which means that my hormones are imbalanced. Whereas my AF are also very irregular. This means that I couldn't conceive naturally. I wanted to go for IVF however, the clinic I visited guided me. They told me in such conditions IVF usually disappoints and I should look up into surrogacy. So here I am now researching the process. I think you shouldn't really be scared about your age as that doesn't matter in today's world. Technology has definitely improved on my recent visit saw 52 years old holding her child through surrogacy. So anything can happen we just need to have the faith and the belief. I hope you're soon able to conceive sending baby dust your way.
