Pain in upper abdomen area.

Does anyone else get pain in the upper abdomen area? I get most of my pain there and it is almost constant.

I had an MRI that came back clear and diagnosed endo in pelvic area and adhesions on ovary 5 weeks ago - this was all burned away.

I'm just wondering if the pain I get in abs area most of the time is referred pain (I heard you can get referred pain there from your ovaries) or if it's endo higher up which they somehow missed (I did ask them to look higher up if poss) but I know that is rare. Or if it is worth getting referred to gastro in case it is something else?

Anyone had this with endo or caused by something else? Any advice?x

That’s me. I had upper abdo pain as well as lower back pain. But the upper abdo pain didn’t go after the surgery which removed the endo through my pelvic walls. They even put in a Mirena but the wierd abdo pains stayed and I felt bad. Finally I was put on a high dose progesterone tablet ( norethisterone 5mg) and in 2 days I was better. It will suppress the endo in the spots they missed. My surgeon said it won’t be endo pain because I cut out all the endo... well it was because that progesterone was my saviour.
