Pain returning...help!

Hi There

So after a LONG battle for diagnosis I have endo and adenomyosis, i have the mirena coil in for about a year and a half. Im 32 now, have always had horrendous periods but the pain was so bad during the last few periods I had I genuinely thought I had a cyst that had burst. Puking, passing out, its hell. The coil completely stopped my period after about 3 months (hurrah) but now unfortunately the pain is coming back, and was very intense (about a 7-9) yesterday. Im going for a scan this week but does anyone have an idea what might be going on? The thought of returning to the battle of being heard on the NHS coupled with the possibility that the pain might be returning is really negatively affecting my mental health.
