Mirena coil ?! 😰

Help !! I have had injections for the last 15 months on zoldex as some might know 6 is the NHS guide line . I now have to wait 5 more months for follow up appointment from having a laparoscopy!!! Because of the time line being on injections doc has suggested mirena coil . I feel like pulling my hair out any help advice appreciated xx

I have the mirena coil, which hasn’t been great for me and so I ended up also on those injections! 15 months is a long time!!

I’m not sure if you’ve read up on the mirena, but I was advised it’s one of the best things for endo. I’ve not had a great experience but I know many people who have! Sometimes it makes your periods heavier though (which I experienced) and my pain didn’t really subside.

As I said everyone’s body is different and reacts differently - it may be worth giving a try!

I’m sorry you need to wait so long for a lap - thats awful!

Thanks for replying it has been a really long time and I don't think it's going to get any better 😰
