Distressed 😔

hello ladies,

I went for a laparoscopy recently to remove my large bilateral chocolate cyst. Just before the surgery, my dr did a test for my Amh levels. The report was presented to me aftrr my surgery, and I was shocked to see that my amh level was 4.8pmol/L. I’m only 25 this year , and the dr told me there may be a chance that my menses will cease. I’m so worried I can’t imagine myself going through menopause at this age. Could someone please share your experience on this?

Hi Fayth, My specialist said to me endometriosis can affect your egg quality (I had an AMH 11) and that it might take up to 3 months for your eggs to improve post excision. I read it all starts with the egg and have taken the supplements and had a laparoscopy and mine has gone up to 15 now. I'm not a Dr this is just my personal experience. I hope it all works out for you.
