Yes me. Had my laparoscopy 2.5 weeks ago and that's what was found. Apparently they were separated. Don't have a follow up for another 2.5 months so not sure whether I'll now be feeling better since they've been removed?! I've also not been told what organs were effected. Just that the adhesions were on my abdominal wall (but not where they were attached to?) I've had such a lack of info since my lap x

Hi huni, sorry to hear you are in the same situation.

Mine weren’t removed, told they were on my ovary and that was it! My follow up is 4 months time. I randomly had a catheter in overnight which is odd, wasn’t told why! Feel like there is something they aren’t telling me in a way to ‘shut me up’ as such! X

Hi had my op 5 wks ago and they found two major adhesions one was on my fallopian tube as I had eptopic yrs ago they managed to sort out but my bowel is attached to my uturus. They can't sort that out as needs specialist to look at. I found out I have endometriosis. They capped a large cyst as well. Under went ablation. My body has had enough. So low, down, depressed as still slightly bleeding. I just want to get back to my old self again. Got no energy what so ever. It's scary to think what really goes on in our body's ladies. Sal xx

I had a lap last year and was told I had a lot of scar tissue and a lot of adhesions which had begun fusing quite a few organs together. They separated them but couldn’t tell me what caused them. I wasn’t given a follow up but am now seeing a different gynae so hoping he can help! Keeping my fingers crossed they aren’t back as surgery can increase the likelihood of you getting them again x

Hi. I was diagnosed with this last year. I had my second lap in July last year and they found adhesions on my left ovary and also on my appendix. They left the ovary alone and removed the ones on my appendix and the appendix itself. I felt better for a little while after but then my problems returned. Had a 3rd lap 3 weeks ago and no adhesions were mentioned which was odd, but a cytoscopy was done at the same time which found bleeding in my bladder suggesting intisitial cystitis. This has the same clinical symptoms as endo apart from heavy periods. Waiting for my consultation on the 12th for more information.

For months they told me it was pain due to adhesions and other doctors looked at that diagnosis like it was crazy every time I was admitted to a&e for pain. The docs couldn't tell me why I had them or why they were causing my pain. Now they are finally admitting there was something else going on.

Hope goes well :)

Hey,

That’s interesting. Did your urine sample show up with blood in your urine?

I definitely think they’ve not told me everything that’s going on. It’s v frustrating!
