So I had a laparoscopy 6 days ago and when I woke I was told they didn’t find endometriosis but cleared the ‘debris’ (I was so confused with what the nurse meant) but later on the doctor came around and explained that they found fat deposits on my womb and adhesions that was connecting my womb to my bladder and to the abdominal wall, they don’t know what caused the adhesions and I’ve been discharged no further appointments or investigation.
I’ve tried to do my own research but all I keep finding is endometriosis I’m just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and can give me advice on what to do next?
Hope everyone is doing well x

Hi, I'm no expert but the adhesions that stuck organs is the endometriosis so I'm confused as you. Hopefully someone else with have some answers for you x
It is my understanding that adhesions are like a glue that stuck some organs together. When you have endo, it’s the endometrium tissue that is glueing the organs together. You can have adhesions from a previous surgery. It’s called pelvic adhesions if they are in this area. I think I have adhesions from a surgery I had years ago on my left ovary. I don’t have all symptoms from endo, since I have no pain with my periods (haven’t been diagnosed yet) but I do have a strong deep painful sex specially on the left side (same side of my surgery) and on my back that’s making sex an impossible thing to me right now.
If you haven’t had a previous surgery then I’m not sure where the adhesions came from. I’ve been having this issue for several years now. I did A LOT of research and came to this conclusion few weeks ago. I’m having an appointment with my doctor in 3 weeks so we will see if we have a new approach now. It can be frustrating sometimes, but let’s not lose hope.
