Hey, hope everyone is doing okay! I’m a little curious to see if anyone struggles with exercise and pain.

I’m in pain 24/7 but it’s a dull ache around my ovaries with random sharp pains etc. Apart from when it’s my period, that pain is horrendous. Anyways at the gym, the dull ache intensifies and certain movements feels like something is catching on my pelvis like a tendon but I don’t know what it is.

One movement I feel it is when I’m lifting my leg outwards from 90 degrees. It feels like somethings catching. Any ideas?

Is it my ovaries or something else that’s catching. Does anyone get this or know what it could be. It’s really annoying and hurts.

Also can you tell if like ovarian cysts are growing like what does it feel like.

It could be adhesions, iv had to give up on exercise for now, I've got really bad adhesions and that's what mines feel like when I move certain ways, something as simple as getting up from sitting to standing straight is very painful x

Hey!

I've been getting a dull pain daily in my pelvic and also wrote a post asking about exercise as I'm trying to lose weight but the pains getting in the way. Lots of people suggested yoga so maybe give that a go?

I think just listen you your body, i went to a spin class last Thursday and was in so much especially in my left side/pelvic area, I nearly walked out but didn't want to make a scene so just took it at my own pace. On the weekend I went to the gym and worked on back and biceps and on monday I went to spin again and was in no pain so just pushed as much as possible! My aim is to workout as well as I can when I'm feeling ok and on those days i'm not just take it easy. Weight lifting on your top half means you can still sweat and burn calories but you won't be doing anything to hurt you belly. I'm avoiding core work! xx

Thank you, yeah like I’ve been exercising for years but I’m so bloated as well, I look pregnant and I’m only 18 haha so knocks my self esteem as well. I know I need a lap but I’m so scared of being put to sleep and stuff x

I totally understand how you feel. I've put on a stone in a year and none of my clothes are fitting me, I had a long cry about it last night! I'm the same in that I look pregnant and all the clothes I had are a fitted size 8 :(. I'm going to buy some baggy clothes tonight because i think it's makes it worse when you haven't got anything that fits.

I'm just trying to remind myself that i'm not in control of what my body is doing and endo if I have it but after laps we should know more.

I've never been put to sleep so nervous too but equally I just want answers now! xx

Yeah I’ve had a few mental breakdowns the last few days in my room at night.

Hope you get a lap soon and get the answers x

It's so hard. Keep your chin up, you'll get the help you need soon xx

I've had this for 3 years, turned out to be overly stretched and tightened pelvic floor muscles x

Ohh okay x

Not saying thats what it definitely is for you but I spent the last 3 years terrified I'd have to lose and ovary or couldn't have kids and I had my lap and was told it's all fine, since found out it's pressure points from tense pelvic floor causing the pain. So don't stress over what it might be because there's nothing that can be done about it anyway or no way to reduce it even if it is the worst case scenario x

Yeah that’s true. The most annoying thing atm is my bladder haha (sorry tmi) constantly feel pressure on it and going for wee every 10 minutes or so xxx

in reply to princessk09

Yeah I had that for a long time, after surgery it was horrific but now it's settled back down and I'm doing pelvic floor therapy it's barely an issue any more, I think it can be the muscles squeezing it but anything is better than the pain I had after surgery! x
