Laparoscopy eve

Hi ladies, it’s laparoscopy eve for me.I have been symptomatic for about 4-5 years, referred approx 12 months ago. Few SAU admissions during the wait, likely bowel and bladder involvement.

How did everyone find their surgery and recovery?

It wasn't easy for me. I was very nervous. But, I got through it and got some endo removed. Recovery was emotionally and physically hard. I was lucky I had my fiance and family caring for me. But I am glad I got it done as I can now get proper treatment. I found something that works for me that lessens period pains and has kept my endo at bay.

Many thanks for your reply, I haven’t factored in the emotional impact of surgery at all really.

I’m very apprehensive about what they may find and the worry that follows it.

My symptoms have worsened over time, my tummy has been really sore overnight, I’m about to ovulate which has been increasingly difficult for me these last few months.

Ovulation pain quite common?

Hi I had bowel and bladder involvement.

My treatment surgery went well but I had a prolonged recovery thanks to unfortunately contracting viral meningitis, which isn't common.
