Strong Dull Pelvic Pain following Laparoscopy - is this normal??

Hi, I had a lap on Wednesday to remove endo on my ovaries. Since Saturday I have had a constant dull pelvic pain with sharp pains every now and then. Is this normal during recovery? The pain is unbearable and has affected my sleep- when I lie on my back it feels like it's going right through my bottom and all around my pelvic area (despite being on painkillers).
