Hi wondering can anyone help me, I’ve not yet been diagnosed so was wondering what type of pain it is you all feel with your endo, I’ve read different things. I’m curious to see if anyone has the exact same pain as me would help settle my mind as it’s running away with me atm when I get my pains I’m really over thinking and getting so anxious. I’m two weeks into my cycle so I guess I’m ovulating and getting really sharp stabbing pains in both left and right ovaries, but the pain seems to be radiating through out my whole stomach, I’ve got like a dragging ache behind my rib on and off, and also down my hips/legs mao my on the left side, I’ve had these pains on and off for years now but today they seem to be so persistent it’s worrying me

I get the same kinds of pain. My cramps are constant, not down to any kind of cycle because I don't really have a cycle - you really couldn't call it that xD I get stabbing pains, usually just in my right - which when I had my lap in November I discovered was because my ovary was stuck to my bowel. But now I am getting both sided cramps - (I have a cyst or two in my left ovary so terrified of it getting worse), pain under ribs use to happen every so often but has gotten much worse and my legs are slowly but surely getting worse. I get some focused cramps, but other times it is my whole tummy. I also have problems with bm's because my womb is stuck to my bowel but I am waiting for my app. at the endo clinic to find out when they want me to have an op. I am also getting killer back ache recently! It sucks I feel like an old person with multiple ailments and all my joints cease up haha. I hope you get a diagnosis soon it took me 10yrs! and I only just turned 20, its crazy. Good luck!!

Wow you are so young it must be hard! Thanks for the reply it’s nice just to speak to people who understand as I feel like I’m just going on about it and annoying everyone at home and work. But it’s just been on my mind constantly, so do you not have regular periods atall then? That’s the one thing I’m grateful for, so far apart from the horrific pain which I’ve always had, my cycle is pretty regular. It’s an awful thing to have but I am glad to know it’s not just in my head and other people can understand yes the pain was all over my stomach today it’s the first time I’ve experienced it so bad, can you recommend anything for the pain? I’ve only taken ibrufon at the minute

Yeah, my body simply bleeds whenever it wants to. I've had bleeds lasting 6 months, and some lasting only a few days. Contraception like the pill, implant, injection and coil either don't work or work for up to a year max and then the bleeding takes over like my body is over it and wants to get back into what it was doing prior. I recently ran out, but I usually have some Tramadol to hand for when the pain gets bad, it may be worth going to the doctor and just asking for a decent pain medicine, as they may only give you a tiny amount but it will help for when things are really bad. I completely understand, its nice talking to people - over the last year plus I've actually been depending completely on this website to get me through all my overthinking... actually to be honest I've probably used it for over 3 years if not close to it. I don't think I would have fought so hard for my diagnosis if I didn't have the support on here and just the inspiration from reading other peoples stories. If you ever need to chat just pop a message or comment and I'll always be happy to talk whenever I am on here. xx
