Hi there,

I often have an issue with feeling nauseous. I’ve been told I have anemia and have a lot of bowel endo related symptoms but don’t know what the cause is yet. I wan wondering if anyone knew anything that helps them to ease nausea. I normally eat dry foods like toast/crackers and drink water but if anyone knows anything else that could help id really appreciate it ?

❤️

Hey, sorry to hear you suffer with nausea. I also do, what works for me is breathing fresh air in deeply , sipping water and propping my self up. It may sound ridiculous, but I’ve found it works. Hope that helps x

I suffer from nausea quite a lot. Try boiling some water over the cooker and add 1 tbls ginger (freshly cut up) and black pepper. Let that boil for about 15 mins and then add a few drops of lemon in your mug and you can add a bit of honey just for taste. Mix the water in, stir and drink. Ginger and black pepper are really good for nausea and so is lemon.

Apart from that, walks, fresh air and plenty of back rubs help me!

Hi Holly, not much help on the nausea front as I too suffer from nausea and recently started vomiting. I too have bowel endo. Maybe worth scheduling another MRI to see if it has spread any further as my symptoms (vomiting) started quite quickly after months of nausea. I’m due for bowel resection in 20 days. Couldn’t come soon enough. When I was nauseas I could often control it by nibbling on salted crisps and deep controlled breathing. The only benefit to throwing up is you actually get some immediate relief...albeit not for very long 😫 thinking of you x

Hi I never used to have nausea but I got ill a year ago then the constant nausea and stomach pains kicked in I lost so much weight the doctor thought I was bulimic 😭 A few reliefs I've personally found is cutting out gluten totally cutting down on dairy and soy trying to eat lots of anti inflammatory foods like fatty fish brocolli lemon ginger etc and taking friendly bacteria and I've recently started taking peppermint oil tablets and turmeric tablets which I think is helping though my stomach is bad because I have my period and its just been christmas 😂😂😂
