Painful intercourse

Hello there amazing ladies! Happy New Year to you all 😎 I've noticed lately that I only suffer with pain during sex in my lower abdomen and my pelvis, when my bowels are full, or I have trapped wind? Has anybody else found this? Thankyou in advance 😘

Totally agree with that!!

I always have healthy anti inflammatory meals during the day and make sure I have intercourse before dinner OR way after dinner and after I pee as I feel much lighter and then it is not pain anymore. If I have a heavy dinner and try to have it afterwards then I know it will be hard

Also, it might depend on the positions .

And other times is just our fear to be in pain that make us contract and feel pain. So let’s all try to forget about that possibility and enjoy the moment and it will also make it easier

Hello and yes yes and yes. When my Bowels are full it makes my pain worse. I often feel nauseous then too. Also when I empty my bladder it can make the pain worse after for a little while. Sex hurts in particular positions so I avoid certain positions . I think the endometriosis spots you have probably get squashed in those situations so it hurts more.

I to suffer with pain during and after sex, i try to not eat much before and dont tend to do it if i havent been the loo that day as i no it will be uncomfortable, its hard to no when the mood wil take you but once you get started you no it was the rong time, i bloat and feel tender it had coursed me a few relationship issues but i hope that doesnt become the case for you, its unfortunate that some men dont understand what problems there enjoyment costs, i find it hard to enjoy it ,yself due to pain and nowing what will be afterwoods but i do it anyway, there arecways to work through these things and no what feels good for you.

These definitely aggravate my dyspareunia, but sadly I get it pretty much permanently.

My surgery didn't really make a difference in the end, I guess due to the amount of damage the Endo had done given its particular location.
