does anyone keep needing to urinate as I have the mirena coil an ever since I have to go for a wee about 4 times an hour and I am unable to hold it as if I do I get awful lower pelvic pains.

Ive noticed since ive had it fitted (during lap surgery 1 month ago) that although I feel the need to pee all the time I find it very difficult. I have to hold my breath to try and squeeze, actually it is the exact same motion I used while giving birth. I do get constant lower abdominal pains so cant tell if its connected to that but ive have felt majorly worse since getting the mirena so will be demanding the doctor takes it out asap. How long have you had yours fitted? X

I have mine just over 6 months but I don’t want it remove as I am petrified that I will get the horrendous pains again x
