Sure the nurse said bandages should come off after 3 to 5 days but don't really know when's best and I also just wanna check everything is healing as if should be. Any advice is appreciated.

I took mine of 48 hours after surgery, they peeled off easily but you can try taking them off in the shower. Once showered make sure you pat them with a clean towel, make sure none of your wounds are pussy or oozing. Hope that helps :)

I gently peeled mine off after a shower about 48 hours after my laparoscopy. I'd gently clean the wounds daily with warm water (belly button with cotton wool buds and others damp cotton wool and gentle padding to dry off).

My stitches were dissolvable and two came away after about 10 days but the others I rung up and spoke to doc and the said just to carefully cut the thread and pull them out with tweezers. My areas were a little pink and scabbed but not angry so I did them myself... Was a relief! But that was around day 14 and after my first non soapy bath :)

Hoping the recovery goes well!! Take good care of yourself :)
