Has anyone fallen pregnant on Zoladex

I have been on Zoladex for over 6 months now since my last op on Jan 11th 2017 and I been told for the pretty much the rest of my life im going to be on zoladex as I had stage 5 endomitriosis which is the worse form you could get it was stuck to my bowel and both ovries stuck together. I have been told of I stop zoladex too soon before I have a child I am at high risk of getting cysts back quickly. We are trying for a child as I heard I could still get pregnant while on it and I was just wondering if this was true or not.

Please check with your doctor, I am on Prostap which I think is similar and I’ve been told that becoming pregnant while on this medication would be dangerous for the baby. I think it’s unlikely you would become pregnant on this medication but not impossible. But my advice would be to check with your doctor because I was told to use barrier contraception to ensure that I didn’t become pregnant xxx

Zoladex switches off your ovaries and puts you in menopause. There is a possibility you could get pregnant but it’s a low chance as you will have hardly any endometrial lying for it to stick to & the likelihood of you realising an egg will be very low. Speak to your gynae guys as Zoladex back to back is not the treatment they advice for people wanting to get pregnant.

Hey I was told there is a risk I could but unlikely and I must keep taking zoladex as my endo was stage 5 all stuck to bowel and overies had stuck together and im a high risk case even though cysts where taken out. so im on a long line of injections every month for the rest of my life pretty much so worryed its going to kill off my overies compleatly.
