Irregular Periods
Hi!
Firstly, I fully sympathise with you, I am also stage four and have the most erratic cycles known to man. I have gone from having 42 day cycles since February to a continual flow. Three weeks ago I had a period after just six days of my last period ending...I have bled and lost clots every day since. If i am not on a contraceptive pill this is normal (daily bleeding) for me. Are you on any hormone treatment? Would you consider going on 'the pill' to get you into a cycle or to take back to back to stop bleeding altogether?
I told my Gynae last Friday what was happening, he put me on Yasmin, I am still yet to stop losing but apparently it could take up to three months to settle. I have tried the implant and depo injection but neither stopped my bleeding. I haven't tried it but my friend is on the coil and hasn't had a period since May last year.. Another option for you perhaps?
I doubt this helps very much, I sometimes find comfort knowing that I am not the only one out there with this.
All the best
Thanks so much for your reply Digger. Your right it does make you feel better to know that your not alone. I was on Femodene for 3 years back to back for the pain.I came off it because I wanted to start thinking about having a baby. I still haven't conceived and the bleeding feels like a constant reminder that it may never happen.
Yes I was bleeding a lot I had the mirena coil put in during a lap and it took quite a few months to settle but works great for me, don't have periods at all now
hi
I can sympathise with you too before starting all my treatment just over two years agao I was exactly the same!
Are you having anymore treatment?
Not diagnosed yet, but have all of the symptoms of endo, also have a period every 15 days with full pms symptoms.. the joys!
